ATHENS, 23 June 2009 - The Grand Prix meeting of internationally acclaimed Track and Field athletes, is once again taking place this year at the Olympic Stadium of Athens.

On July 13, the Athens Grand Prix Tsiklitiria 2009 invites all sports fans to come and enjoy unique, thrilling moments, as the biggest stars of Classical Athletics compete.

The major sports event in Greece, and one of the top on an international level, enters its 12th year of successfully organized sports meetings.

Four world records and dozens of amazing performances achieved early on by a galaxy of Olympic and World champions, fast upgraded and established the historic athletic meeting of  Panellinios Athletic Club.

This July, the Athens Grand Prix Tsiklitiria is ready to once again offer a spectacle worthy of its fame, with fantastic performances by the very same great athletes, who will soon compete again for wins and medals at the 12th IAAF Championships in Athletics, taking place in Berlin from the 15th to the 23rd of August.
