Εύκολη νίκη για τον Αντριου Χιντς με χρόνο 10.27. Ο
Παναγιώτης Σαρρής ακυρώθηκε.
“Είμαι απογοητευμένος με την εμφάνισή μου, αν και η
ατμόσφαιρα στο στάδιο ήταν εξαιρετική» είπε ο νικητής.
Andrew Hinds easily won Heat 1 with a time of 10.27.
“I am disappointed with my performance although the
atmosphere was great” said the winner.

Ντέρικ Αντκινς ανέβηκε μετά τα 60 μέτρα και πρόλαβε να
κερδίσει τον Αμερικανό Ντάρβις Πάτον με χρόνο 10.10.
«Είμαι πολύ ευτυχισμένος που κέρδισα για δεύτερη συνεχή
χρονιά εδώ» είπε ο Αντκινς.
Ο 2ος της κούρσας Ντάρβις Πάτον (10.14) είπε:
«Είμαι κουρασμένος από τις κούρσες στο πρωτάθλημα των ΗΠΑ. Ο
επόμενος αγώνας μου θα είναι στο Λονδίνο. Στο Πεκίνο θέλω
μετάλλιο».
Derrick Atkins run strongly after the first 60 metres and
managed to win in front of American Darvis Patton with a
time of 10.10 (wind : -0.40).
«This is my second win in arrow here in Athens and I am very
proud for this” said Atkins
The 2nd of the 100 m. race, Darvis Patton (10.14)
said:
“I feel tired after strong races at the US Champs. My next
race will be in London. In Beijing I want to win a medal”
